Decryptic does not collect any personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. Everything the app needs is bundled inside it, so nothing you do in the app is sent anywhere. The only exception is described in the next section, and it is a link you choose to tap.
Decryptic has a single link to the internet: an optional survey asking what to build next. Tapping it opens the page in your own browser. The app itself still makes no network requests, and sends nothing about you or your play — answering is entirely your choice, and the survey doesn’t ask who you are.
Decryptic keeps a small amount of information so it can remember your progress between sessions:
All of this is written to storage on your own device and never leaves it. It is not transmitted, backed up to us, or shared with anyone. Nobody but you can see it — including us.
Uninstalling Decryptic removes everything it has stored. You can also clear it without uninstalling, from Android Settings → Apps → Decryptic → Storage → Clear data. There is nothing held anywhere else, so there is no deletion request to make and no one to make it to.
Decryptic is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data whatsoever, it collects no data from children either.
Decryptic asks for no permissions you have to grant — no camera, microphone, contacts, location, files or notifications. The app declares Android's standard INTERNET permission, which every app using a web view has and which Android grants automatically without a prompt. Decryptic doesn't use it to send or fetch anything; the only page it ever loads is the survey link above, and that opens in your own browser.
If a future version of the app ever collects or transmits anything, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described here rather than quietly applied.
